Terms of service

The rules for using AlphaExam — your account, credits, acceptable use and the limits of what we promise.

Last updated 15 Aug 2026

1. Who we are

AlphaExam ("we", "us") is operated by [Registered business name], [registered address], India. These terms govern your use of alphaexam.in and everything on it.

By creating an account or taking a test you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

You need an account to take a test. We authenticate you by sending a one-time code to your email address, or through Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should read these terms and agree to them on your behalf.

One person, one account. Sharing an account or its sign-in codes is not permitted.

3. Credits

Mock tests are paid for with credits. Each test displays its credit cost before you start, and the credits are deducted when the attempt opens.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for money except as described in our refund policy.

Credits do not expire. If we ever need to change that, we will give existing holders reasonable notice by email.

4. Taking a test

Each attempt is timed. The timer runs on our servers, so closing your browser does not pause it. If you are disconnected you may resume the same attempt with the time remaining, at no extra credit cost.

The test player runs in fullscreen and records events such as leaving fullscreen or switching tabs. These are recorded on your attempt for integrity purposes.

When the timer expires, the attempt is submitted automatically and marked with whatever has been answered.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, record, republish or redistribute our questions, answer keys or reports
  • use automated tools, scripts or extensions to interact with a test
  • attempt to obtain answers before or during an attempt by any means
  • share your account with anyone else, or take a test on someone else's behalf
  • probe, scan or attempt to breach the security of the platform

6. Our content

All questions, explanations, reports and software on AlphaExam are our intellectual property or are licensed to us. Your account grants you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own preparation, and nothing more.

Names of examinations such as IMO, NSO, IEO, NTSE and CBSE belong to their respective bodies. AlphaExam is an independent preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

7. Availability and accuracy

We work hard to keep the platform available and our question banks correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every question is free of error. If you find a mistake in a question, please tell us and we will review it.

Scores and reports are for practice and self-assessment. They are not a prediction of, and carry no weight in, any official examination.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly where question content is being copied or redistributed. Where we do so for a clear breach, unused credits are forfeited.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including examination outcomes.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or through a notice on the site, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [city] have exclusive jurisdiction.
