Refund policy

When we refund credit purchases, when we don't, and how to raise a problem with an attempt.

Last updated 15 Aug 2026

1. The short version

Unused credits can be refunded within 7 days of purchase. Credits already spent on an attempt cannot, because the test content has been delivered — but if something went wrong on our side, we will put it right.

2. Refunds we give

We will refund you where:

  • you request it within 7 days of purchase and the credits are still unused
  • you were charged twice for the same purchase
  • credits were deducted but the test failed to open
  • a technical fault on our side ended or corrupted an attempt
  • a test was published with a serious error, such as a wrong answer key that materially affected your score

3. Refunds we do not give

We are not able to refund:

  • credits already spent on a completed attempt
  • an attempt you scored poorly on, or one you left unattempted until the timer expired
  • an attempt interrupted by your own device or internet connection — you can resume these at no extra cost
  • requests made more than 7 days after purchase
  • purchases on an account closed for breaching our terms

4. How to request one

Email [support email] with the receipt number from your dashboard or receipt email, and a short description of the problem. Screenshots help if a test misbehaved.

We aim to respond within 2 working days.

5. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back through Razorpay to the original payment method — we cannot pay to a different card or account. Banks typically take 5 to 10 working days to show the credit.

The corresponding credits are removed from your balance when the refund is issued.

6. Credits granted as goodwill

Where an attempt failed through a fault of ours, we usually restore the credits to your account immediately rather than making you wait for a bank refund. You can ask for money back instead if you would prefer it.
