About AlphaExam
Serious practice for students who are actually preparing
AlphaExam is an online mock test platform for Indian olympiad and school exams — IMO, NSO, IEO, ICO, NTSE, the Unified and Silverzone olympiads, and the CBSE syllabus. We build the software we wished existed when we were sitting these papers.

What we care about
Practice should not be memorisation
A mock test you can retake from memory teaches nothing. Every attempt on AlphaExam draws a different selection from the section's question bank and shuffles the options, so the second attempt tests the same syllabus rather than the same paper.
The clock should be honest
The countdown runs on our servers. Losing your connection or closing the tab doesn't stop it, and it doesn't cost you the attempt either — you come back to the paper with the time that genuinely remains.
Mathematics should look like mathematics
Questions are typeset with real LaTeX rather than pasted as photographs. Fractions, surds and matrices stay sharp however far a student zooms in, on any screen size.
A score alone is not feedback
Knowing you got 62% doesn't tell you what to do next. Every report breaks the attempt down by section, by topic and by time spent, so the next revision session starts in the right chapter.
How questions get here
Questions are drawn from past papers, standard textbooks and material written for us. Scanned sources are transcribed into proper text and LaTeX with AI assistance, but nothing reaches a student before a human has read it, corrected it and approved the answer key. We track how every question performs across attempts, so anything with a suspiciously low success rate gets reviewed again.
